Members of Superior can talk to a nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Superior’s nurse advice line. You can call to get answers to health questions when your doctor is not available.
If you believe your child needs immediate medical care to prevent them from being hurt permanently or if you think their life is in danger, you need to seek medical attention right away. Take your child to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
If you are not sure you are having an emergency, call your doctor and they can tell you what to do. If you cannot speak with your doctor, call Superior’s 24-hour nurse advice line. Our nurses will be glad to answer your questions. Our staff speaks English and Spanish. If you speak another language or need an interpreter, call Member Services for help.
You can also get information on other health topics by calling the nurse advice line. These include:
- Questions about pregnancy
- How to deal with asthma problems
- Caring for newborns
- How much medicine to give children
- Major illnesses
