Help HHS Develop the New Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS)

Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) has begun developing the next evolution of the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS), PEMS+. PEMS+ will become the single system of record for Texas Medicaid and CHIP provider information with goals to reduce administrative burden and improve data integrity.

HHS is looking for practitioners, facilities, long-term care providers and dental providers who might be interested in providing feedback on:

  • PEMS+ scope and user interface changes
  • Provider experience improvement opportunities
  • Collection of Managed Care Organization (MCO) credentialing data
