NEW: COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling Resource

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is the lead agency for the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out, and is responsible for developing communication to the public about the vaccine. DSHS recently launched the Texas Public Health Scheduler to help people sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine through participating public entities across Texas.

The Texas Public Health Scheduler webpage allows users to register with the scheduler, as well as review frequently asked questions about the vaccine. Medicaid (STAR, STAR Health, STAR Kids, STAR+PLUS) and CHIP providers are encouraged to access this new resource, as well as share with members.

Please note: The scheduler will not replace all COVID-19 vaccine registration sites or vaccine locator tools. People should register for a vaccine using the sites and tools that work best for them.
